Thursday March 12, 2015 – Station 94 along with Ladder 926 were dispatched to 716 Maple Avenue for a dwelling fire. Reports were that the house was filling with smoke. Battalion Chief 9401 (Tull) arrived to find a 1 1/2 story single family dwelling with smoke showing. The crew from Engine 942 arrived and stretched a 1 3/4 hose line into the dwelling finding a kitchen fire. The crew quickly knocked the fire. Engine 943 arrived an secured a water supply and the crew from ladder 926 were ordered to set up ventilation and handle salvage operations. There were no injuries and the fire is under investigation by the Deptford Fire Marshal’s Office.
