Cross Training with Woodbury Heights Fire Department

Tuesday March 29th, Members from Battalion 94 and Woodbury Heights Fire Department got together at Gateway Regional School to replace parts of the flag pole for the school and go over each others apparatus.

After the storms, on June 20, 2019, the Westville Fire Department operated for 22 Hours on Thursday and 12 hours on Friday in assisting our residents by removing them from their homes to safety, securing utilities, transporting to our community center and pumping out their basements.

Although property was damaged and some lost, we can report the good news that there were no injuries.

The rain and flood waters came at us at a rapid speed, we could not do this alone. We would like to thank the departments from Gloucester and Camden Counties that responded; National Park, West Deptford Township (Verga),Thorofare, Deptford Township Battalions 1,2,4, East Greenwich, Mantua, Harrison Township (Harmony), Woolwich, Franklin Township ,Franklinville, Janiver, Gloucester County Fire Coordinator, EMS, OEM , Borough of Westville Departments of Public Works, Code Enforcement and Housing, Police, OEM, Administration Office and the Mayor and Council members and the American Red Cross. With Swift Water Rescue teams from (Malaga) Franklin Township, Cherry Hill, Collingwood, Washington Township Fire Departments, High Water Vehicles from East Greenwich FD, Harrison Township PD and Deptford PD and Canteens from the Deptford and Cherry Hill Fire Departments (Deer Park Fire Company)

There were also many other departments that called into the Gloucester County Fire Alarm Room that were on stand by to come in and assist with the operations, but with the help from those listed above we accomplished our mission!
